Title: SRGC : volunteers needed
Post by: Maggi Young on April 12, 2016, 04:20:57 PM
Seed Exchange - Packeting Manager - This person is responsible for getting the bulk seed out to the team of volunteers who packet the seed for the renowned SRGC Seed Exchange and receiving it back to be ready for the Seed exchange itself.  The job has been done very efficiently for a number of years  by Ian Pryde but it is thought that if necessary in future it might be  done either by a single person or a small group. A full job description is available for any interested individual or group, it is very detailed and easy to follow to ensure a smooth operation.

This post is now filled by  George Watt of Burnside, Littlemill Road,  Drongan, East Ayrshire KA6 7EN
Thank you, George!

This page will be used  to highlight  SRGC tasks which need new volunteers  to take them on.

A Minutes Secretary is needed  for  SRGC Council Meetings

Ann Brown has given great service to the Club with her work as Minutes Secretary over  some years - Ann was meant to  stand down at the last AGM  but  the post is still  waiting to be filled.

There are not a great  number of Council Meetings per year  but it is, of course, important to have  a reliable record of proceedings of these meetings.

If you think you  could help the Club by volunteering for this post then please contact  SRGC Secretary, Carol Shaw (findhorncarol@icloud.com) as soon as possible.

Carol will be happy to discuss the post with anyone interested in helping the Club.
