My actual Plant of the Year: Stellera chamaejasme v.chrysantha, the first flowers after sowing
8 years before.

many thanks for your kind comments, I noted a light fragrance at the flowers.

I have a very nice daphne from Mr Pilous's seed a few years ago. Although it has grown really well, it is only this last summer (from Nov) that it has flowered. The seed was as kosaninii pink form, and looks quite like oleoides, but pink. I couldn't detect any perfume at all but it did set quite a lot of seed as little orange fruit.
