Hippeastrum papilio

striatum 'Biritiba'

Thank you for showing these Aldo.
Are they from seed, and if so, how long to flowering?
Although many species Hippeastrum are not self-fertile, presumably this does not apply to hybrids in commerce.
Seedlings from this deep red one (maybe 'Red Pearl' or similar) are growing quite fast, despite low temperature & light levels here in winter.

Thanks Ashley, yes, the plants are from seed, H. papilio flowered in six years, H. striatum in four, we can do better ;D ;D
