Title: Amorphophallus titanum on Ebay
Post by: mark smyth on August 01, 2009, 10:56:27 AM
The seller says it has a 2 inch 5cm spike. Somehow I think he is wrong. Current bid $560 with just under 4 days to go

Just means the spike is only two inches at the minute.... looks about right if the photos of the corm are genuine.

How big were they? I that that would set the cat among the pigeons in our school greenhouse!

My older plant reached 2.5 metres - the height of my tropical greenhouse and the other 0.5 m or so. They've both been relocated to a warm, tropical environment on the Natal coast where they may reach their full potential - we're just a little too cold for them to thrive here.
