Which geranium is this-Thanks
-
Geranium sanguineum but I dont know which cultivar
-
Thanks Mark. Which is this potentilla. I asked this a while back but realised the flowres are only 1cm or less wide and are yellow. They often don't open but sometimes do. Could it be an alpine kind. It does spread rather quickly and could grow to 2ft wide. Its height is only about 3 inches.
any suggestions- i can google the plant name images to see if I can get an even closer match.
Thanks once again.

I definitely agree with Mark S.. This is no potentilla, but Geranium sanguineum. Could be the type, or some of the pink Cvs, there are many of them!

Hi the foliage is not from the geranium it is from another plant which I think is a potentilla. My decription of it and the leaf should hopefully give an identification. Thanks.

Is the single leaf photo above potentilla neumara or potentila vernis maybe ? Any ideas.
Thanks for your help.

David, I'm not familiar with those names... there is a Potentilla neumanniana and a Potentilla verna.... thought those two are synonymous, I think, so the same thing.... but I don't think your leaf looks right for that.

Yes I thought that it was not that to be honest. Thanks for your time though. Spring soon ! looking forward to the growing season anyway.
