Title: Autumn weather 2011
Post by: Panu on September 23, 2011, 07:14:21 AM: It´s autumnal equinox today, so I started a new topic. We had first night frost few days ago, which was quite late. This week it´s been raining more or less every day. If only I could hibernate for next six months...

No, Quercus coccifera, as in the kermes oak. It is a dwarf prickly-leaved evergreen. I collected some acorns near Barcelona a few years ago and they grew quite well, coping with frosty Dunblane.
