New Zealand Plant Gallery online
« on: March 06, 2013, 09:21:32 PM »
Dear forum friends,

Just want to inform you that I have just ad a new Photo Album to my website with many images I made during 7 "mountain days" in New Zealand last January/February. I gave 3 lectures at the Study Weekend and a workshop about plant photography. I was happy to have some "spare days" with good guidance of various NZ plant friends.

This is the direct link to the New Zealand Gallery http://www.jansalpines.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=36246

Here a few images from Mt. Edward, Mt. Dobson and the Gertrude Saddle.

Coprosma petriei
Gentianella corymbifera ssp. corymbifera
Raoulia eximia
Haastia sinclairii
part of the Gertrude Saddle in Fiordland

I hope to publish a few more images later.
Enjoy your virtual New Zealand plant tour.

Cheers, Harry Jans

I know from Ian's experience there that there are good friends who provide excellent guidance to the mountains. A fabulous, "personal service" from those folks, eh?!!!

I never thought to see Gentians so near to the ocean!
Here Gentianella saxosa
It seems to like salt. (key to successful cultivation?)
