Dianthus 'La Bourboule'
« on: April 30, 2013, 11:13:23 PM »
Is this a selection of a species which comes true from seed or must it be propagated by cuttings? I had seed so labelled from last year's Seed Exchange and now have a few small plants. When I offer them for sale at the FTBG Plant sale can I label them as 'La Bourboule' or just as un-named seedlings?

Thak you

Hi Erle,
I've grown this and the white form from seed and they seem to breed "true".
For accuracy you could label them "ex La Bourboule".
cheers
