I went to Colesbourne Park today.

It is 10 or 12 years since I went last time, but the place seemed virtually the same.

It was a lovely sunny day.

The ground was a bit muddy in places, I still enjoyed a good walk around.

The sales table was well stocked & not too much of a scrum.

I went on the last weekend this year - lovely day out - was disappointed though at the stock left - not many to choose from - should have done what others seem to have done and pre order then collect (there were quite a few not collected though) was tempted to stay to the end then see if any I wanted were left but didn't due to the long drive back up north.

Anyone know of any good gardens to visit up this way - everyone open for snowdrops who also sell as I am just a learner seems to be Gloucester and further down south but I am determined to make some very challenging drives next year if anyone on here would be kind enough to in box me when dates are appearing.

Sorry I am new to this and not set up an avatar or anthing like other member have, don't even know where to start - any help at all very gratefully accepted.

I live in Lancashire on the Fylde Coast near to Blackpool if that makes it easier - but willing to travel and boy does the car get some annual milage on it.

now here again in retrospect a few pictures from the Snowdrop-Days in Oirlich/Nettetal  (Germany) on 23.2. / 24.2.2013.
