Gentiana angustifolia?

I purchased these as Gentiana angustifolia.  What do you think?

The flower looks like a science fiction creation:

Is there some way to get them to make more flowers?  They are in full sun.

One of the most persistent mysteries of rock gardening Gene !  The sometimes poor flowering of these beauties.

I tend to give them a good feed of bone meal and cow manure pellets every spring, after flowering.  They don't respond to badly to that treatment !
