A few from the greenhouse
« on: February 28, 2009, 12:39:44 PM »
A few things from this morning, just for interest - the last Crocus cvijicii, many weeks after the lovely and huge ones from Janis, Fritillaria ariana and F. striata still going strong weeks after I first posted it.

Cheers,

Alex

Nice frits Alex  :)
Hristo passed away, after a long illness, on 11th November 2018. His support of SRGC was  much appreciated.

Hi Lesley,

It's strange, I have a couple of forms and they grow very nicely indeed, even got seedlings - but so many things are just ungrowable here. I think this idea that your conditions suit some plants very well and not others at all, and there's not really a thing you can do about it, unfortunately has much truth in it!
