Colchicum minutum - natural depth
« on: September 06, 2013, 11:58:55 AM »
Just now I've been looking for Colchicum minutum bulbs in a large brick trough in my garden. They have been naturalising and spreading in there years. For the size of the bulb I was amazed to find them 11cm/4 inches down. 11cm is where the 'head' of the bulb was with the 'foot' growing further down. I should have photographed them.

While I have these out of the ground would anyone like to swap for other small Colchicums?
