We had a quick walk around Culzean today in between heavy showers. The rain washed atmosphere allowed us to clearly see the Irish coast some 50 miles away. We wandered into the children's "walk" behind the walled garden and saw these charming chainsaw carvings.
We could hear some young kids almost squealing in delight when they saw the Gruffalo and then they were called away to see the Bugs Hotel.
Farther along the trail was Mrs. Tiggywinkle's Winter house where she hibernated for the Winter.
What a charming way to get youngster's interested in wildlife and plants. I wished I was eight again.....when all the body parts worked without complaining !!!
