This is the first year that I have grown Crocus Kotschyanus in the garden. I was disappointed that they have grown very leggy, about 7 to 8 inches tall and once they reach this height they flop over and lie on the soil. This is not due to rain or wind. They are grown in the open so that they receive plenty of light. Is this characteristic of this species. I grown Crocus Banaticus within 1.5 metres of them and they stand up well.
Have I done something wrong?
