Buried Treasure Bulb & Seed List
« on: June 27, 2013, 08:58:50 PM »
Rannveig's new list has arrived, Sadly, it looks as though it will be the last bulb list. So another source of interesting bulbs has disappeared.

Mine arrived this morning. What Rannveig writes is "As I indicated last year, I am trying to reduce my stocks. Many of our pots contain bulbs kept specifically for sale through Buried Treasure. In order to reduce the work load I am aiming to plant most of these in the garden if they are not sold. So this will be their last appearance in my catalogue."

I read this as probably a shorter list next year rather than no list??
There is a couple of dozen seed listed this year but my scanner is playing up.....

Gail - you may be right. Or you may be more of an optimist than I am.

It seems you are right Gail. I emailed Bob Wallis about my concern & this is his reply:

"Now that Rannveig and I are pensioners, we are trying to run down the need to grow things for other people and all the space and time that requires but we still keep generating spares and Rannveig will continue with a smaller operation for a few more years yet.  So have no fear!"
