Giant lily bulbs
« on: November 28, 2014, 11:10:28 PM »
A neighbour came to the house to ask me to go his garden to see what he had found ......

His lily had produced a huge ball of 5 to 6 bulbs. The soil at the top was the original soil surface. Where did all the little bulbs come from?

When the swifts arrive empty the green house

If it was   Lilium lancifolium I could understand it.  The stem bulbils drop on the ground and you have a lily forest in no time.

What lily is it?
