Translucent seed envelopes

Anyone know of a source of small translucent (not polythene) seed envelopes (packets) in New Zealand for collecting, storing and sending dry seeds?

Hi Anthony, I know you can buy them here, but not sure how you can get them over there. AGS do sell them, and I know Glassford does at our shows. But whatever you do, please don't get plastic packets, they are a nightmare to deal with when we are packeting seed, the seed clings to the plastic.

Thanks Chris. I suppose postage for a hundred or so from the UK won't be too drastic.

Maybe you could look at ebay .
Lots of glassine envelopes and maybe you can even find some free shipping.
This is an example of a great deal if you could use 1000.
Not sure if you would have to pay import fees.

Thanks Steve. Yes, they are in New Zealand, but very expensive. I bought some off Ebay. They were £2.00/50 plus P/P, compared with NZ$4.95/12 plus P/P at Papervine. I ordered 150, which should do me a while.

That's a terrible price Anthony, from Papervine. I was hoping for some as well. I certainly DO want 1000 or 2000 so an overseas option would be OK probably. In the meantime I'm using brown paper pay envelopes (who gets their pay in cash in an envelope nowadays?) but in boxes of 100 at a time they're costly too.

AGS stock them Lesley, small 73 x 41mm-50 for £3; large 117 x 89mm-25 for £3. Quote "Overseas members should contact AGS Centre for postage rates"
