Lilium 2014
« on: January 10, 2014, 12:54:20 AM »
A new lilium for us is an Aurelian Hybrid ( I think) Oriental-Trumpet hybrid called 'Mr Cas'; first flower opened yesterday and it's a beauty! Hopefully it likes its place in the garden and will prosper,
cheers

A favourite Orient-pet is the outstanding 'Silk Road', now well established in a raised bed under a young Chinese Pistachio,

After a week of 40oC temperatures this Lilium 'Canberra' was a bit singed when it opened!

The Aurelian hybrid 'X-Phi' tolerated the heat a bit better,
