which bulb plant is this ?

Hi all ,

today by a walk I saw in a old neglectet garden a plant which was new for me ...
Maybe anybody knows it ?
It was around 30 -35 cm high - flowers pale blue ( with a little fragrance )
On the same place grows Gal.nivalis ( flowers finished ) and Anemone nemorosa ( flowering now )
This bulb plant reminds me a little on a big Scilla ...but which ?
In my garden flowering in this time S.bifolia + S.sibirica ...but they are much smaller
Hyacinthoides non-scripta and Hyacinthoides hispanica are later ..

That's what I was going to suggest, Matt - but I call it  Hyacinthus orientalis var. albulus...........

Thats a interesting ID 
I had for a short moment also the idea with Hyacinthus ( when I noted the fragrance ) but I know only Hycinthus from garden Centers ...and they look really different 

Interesting that this plants can grow here without any protection many years in the wild !

Yes, marvelous that these old species can survive.  Quite a journey to breed the florist's fat hyacinths from these dainty flowers, too, eh?

I have some in pure white. Could you ask for some bulb to swap with my white one. Mine sets no seed because its only one clone. I have already crossed it with a blue one. But this light blue will probably be nearer to my white form.

They are now very prolific here. I take them up every second year and plant the bulbs again separate.
