Pterospora andromeda
« on: January 07, 2008, 09:02:27 AM »
I was very happy to recieve seeds of Pterospora andromeda from the seed exchange. This is a North American plant related to Monotropa, which lacks chlorophyll and needs mycorrhiza to survive. Does anyone have experience in sowing and growing this? Can it collaborate with European mycorrhiza or are the cultural differences to great? I have seen mycorrhiza tablets for sale on the net, could this help or is it a waste of money? I would be grateful for any advice.
