Moss Phlox

A friend sent me some pictures of Phlox in Japan.
I think it is worth taking a look there.

Oh Wow Luit.....that IS impressive (and would be even more impressive if it was planted less like a bedding display).

What a display! Mind you, if one is going to plant masses of phlox, so it looks like pink moss, how else can it be done other than to look like a bedding display......there must be thousands of plants there... I bet it smells good, too. 8)

I get your gist Maggi, but I would prefer to see the edges of each 'bed' less defined (by integrating the colours where they join) and, if possible, the drifts running up into the trees. I'll write and tell them.....anybody know any Japanese?

Well, Luit, you certainly made a real success here with that link.....little white dogs are very precious in these parts!
Here is our dog Lily, snoozing on the sofa with Molly (behind her), who often comes to stay.... no phloxes in this photo, these  kilim patterns come from the middle east ..

Yes Maggi, I know about Lily, but I did not want to be more precise.
There seem to be more forumist with such dogs, I believe also in Australia.
Nevertheless a cute picture.
