Aberdeen 17th May - Alpine plant display at Duthie Park

Today the Aberdeen group held its second display at the Duthie Park in Aberdeen. This year there was a small competitive show, as well as a non-competitive display. It is hoped that in future years the Aberdeen SRGC Show may be reborn in this venue.

 I was not able to attend - hope we do hear more about the day.

Hi Maggi

Sorry that you couldn't make it and off course I had to eat your chocolate cakes, no point wasting it  . I never took my camera but hopefully we will get to see some pictures soon. It was a lovely day and so nice to catch up with everyone. The Winter gardens was looking really good and off course our wee selection of plants added something different. We had people knocking at the door at 10.30 even though the doors didn't open till 11am. Hopefully everyone had a fun time.

lovely cyps - I would like to grow mine in clay pots as well.
The last cyp looks like a hybrid -Pixi or Mem. Shauna Austin more than smithii,
