Coming to the end of the season now, but one of my oddities cheers me up whenever I go in the greenhouse. It is Cremastra appendiculata, a Japanese woodland plant. Wish I could keep the leaves pristine, but they are going over and the slugs / snails love them. The flowers though are quite unlike any other orchid that I know. Supposedly it does not last in cultivation but mine is going the right way with a first double spike flowering. It would be quite something if it would clump up for me. Here's hoping.
