I bought this iris labelled as
Iris mandschurica
. However, it appears it is not, as
Iris mandschurica
is yellow with a yellow beard and brown markings on the falls:

Any idea what I have? Thanks in advance for any info.

Very nice, Lori. Looking a little taller than I might expect (- but that's nothing to fret about)- and with less scimitar like leaves - but probably a form of
Iris suaveolens.

Thank you very much, Maggi. It certainly does appear to be that.

A lot of these Iris are very confusing to me
I have a couple I cannot remember the names of - luckily (
) they don't flower much, so it's not often an issue for me!
