Dianthus barbatus.

I'd greatly appreciate any details of good sites for Dianthus barbatus in the wild.
Ideally precise locations (best pm'd to me) in easily accessible and cheap-to-get-to places.
I'm assuming we're in the realms of the Pyrenees and Dolomites, so hope Cliff and French forumists can help out.

Hi Giles,
We have only encountered small and very limited colonies of D. barbatus in our preferred hiking locations in the Dolomites.  We could willingly provide this information, but few locations that would guarantee success.  We have seen it in the French Alps, but again only in tiny numbers.  Can anyone else assist Giles with his research please?

Now you mention it, Giles, it occurs to me that in all the talks I've seen I cannot remember seeing any photos of this charming dianthus in the wild.  Perhaps  it is not just scarce  but also neglected?
