Pulsatilla occidentalis NOT
« on: August 01, 2014, 08:44:06 AM »
Below a couple of pics of a plant grown from SRGC Seed Ex. 12/13-3259 labelled as Pulsatilla occidentalis which apparently it isn't. We have been having a discussion about what it might be on the Pulsatilla thread but no firm opinions put forward. Any guesses anyone?

It looks more Anemone-like then a Pulsatilla David. What do you think? Any sign of buds yet? Maybe next year (Send in the Clowns).

Thanks for responding Lesley. Tim has christened it as Anemone multifida over on the Pulsatilla thread.
