Flemish Rock Garden Club- VRV - first event of the year

Our friends in the VRV will host their first meeting of 2015 with to talks by  their out-going President, Kris De  Raeymaeker on the 31st January
The venue will be in the Botanic Garden of the University of Ghent,
Charles Louis Ledeganckstraat 35, 9000 Ghent but in a different room than previous meetings:
Auditorium 5, at 10 am.

As forumists will know from his posts here, Kris is a keen traveller as well as an accomplished gardener and his talks will be on the Pontic Alps in June and the excitement of the arrival of Spring in the area around Side, in March.

These VRV events are always something that personally I  am sorry not to be able to attend - so if you could get there- I would recommend that you attend!

Kris is coming to the end of his fine period as President of the VRV and will be succeeded by Johan Keulemans from Mechelen who will Take office in February

We thank Kris for his friendship and cooperation with the SRGC and are delighted that Johan has expressed his wish to continue the warm and close connection between our clubs.

We wish Johan every success in his new position.
