PHOTOGRAPHING PLANTS

Have you ever wanted to take really good photos of plants in your garden or elsewhere but never quite succeeded? Help is at hand!
The Grampian and Tayside group of Plant Heritage March lecture will be given this year by Stan Farrow, photographer extraordinaire. In his talk, he aims to provide you with a simple introduction to plant photography explaining how to use your digital camera to capture great images whether your interests are botanical illustration, fine art plant photography, or just making a record of the plants in your garden.  So, whether you have a simple "point and shoot" or the latest professional camera, this talk will give you some useful tips about how to improve your images.

Saturday 28th March at 2pm in The Education Centre, Dundee Botanic Garden, Riverside Drive, Dundee DD2 1QH. £5 on the door. Booking in advance possible or take your chance on the day. Contact Sue Hewer on 01575 560259 before Friday 27th March.

Margaret Young in Aberdeen, North East Scotland Zone 7 -ish!
