On Wednesday a group of friends visited this well known hill in the Burgenland, famous not only for its delicious wine but also for the flowers. The 500 km trip was well woth the effort. I hope, you enjoy the pictures!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures of this memorable trip. It was the perfect time for the Iris and the Adonis - very difficult when you live 250km away in a rather different climate

Herbert, thank you for these lovely pics! Unfortunately I was too early in the region to admire
the amazing variation of  Iris pumila - saw only yellow and violet ones.
