Just an early wake up call to all Pudsey Piglets.  We will be celebrating and contesting the PP at the Southport Show next week.  The pub is booked and forewarned, extra puds will be laid on.  Start fasting now if you wish to take the title from the Bookeroo.

You lucky people - a great  plant show and superb extra-curricular activities in the form of the PP competition.
It'll be a great day - have fun!   Number of hostelries reachable from venue of  Aberdeen Show (on the 16th May)   is limited, though the nearest one is pretty good - wonder if we should initiate an Aberdeenshire  version - we could have the Garioch Glutton.....

Just a thought - I expect the respective Show Secs at Southport and Aberdeen would be glad if potential attendees brought show plants as well as their hungry tummies......

It's not too bad on the way there Maggi when tums are empty. It's fitting everything in the car afterwards: plants, new plants and full tums, not to mention the odd alcoholic beverage to help it all down
