Why I should spend more time in the alpine house
« on: October 19, 2015, 06:23:34 PM »
don't cram dionysia's too close to other pots  ::) - rotate pots regularly :-[

any ideas how to get it back into shape? does it need a haircut and a bigger pot

It did flower well this spring - but seem to have grown a bit since then

A bigger pot and some carefully placed well selected rocks will get rid of the dead patches and give you a great exhibit for grown for natural effect.

Dionysia seem to be in a class of their own in that respect with me - every time I get a big plant something seems to happen to it

Graeme/Maggi,
I would add cyps into the mix if you're looking for plants with a death wish.
Lost 12 this summer and I can usually grow them reasonably well,
