Plants from the Woods and Forests of Chile An exquisite volume, featuring 81 unique commissioned water colour paintings represents the labour and observations of three talented award-winning artists. Gülnur Ekşi, Işık Güner and Hülya Korkmaz, have painstakingly and accurately recorded the minutest of details to bring alive the beautiful plant life from a fascinating part of the world.
This book, which was published on 11th October 2015, is now limited to only 450 numbered copies of which less that 130 are still available for purchase.
An exhibition featuring a selection of the unique watercolour paintings will run from Sat 10 Oct 2015 — Sun 6 Mar 2016 at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in the John Hope Gateway.

As Tim Ingram has written : " Only two minutes long but isn't it time for plants to feature properly in Natural History broadcasting on television? If in two minutes you can say so much, so how much more would come across in a full length programme? " ...... I have to agree!
