There is a series of glasshouses  with different  habitats and plants in each including a National Collection of Gasteria. Several features attract children.

Maggi, in an earlier post Cyril's Certificate of merit Penstemon was stated as P uintahensis.
It should of course be Penstemon absarokensis

A good day out in Aberdeen yesterday though after a bright sunny but very cold drive north we were greeted by rain on arrival in the city!!! Typical!

Brilliant and very complete report again Stan - your reporting allows people around the world to get a close experience of being at a show.
Thank you for all your reports over the Spring Show season.

Correction made to the ID of the Penstemon  and names of the winners added to early posts.
Glad to see Stan has regained access to complete his wonderful report- he is too modest to tell us that many of the red tickets you see in the photos are for his plants!  Well done Stan - some real crackers there among a show that is  regaining strength.

Super photos showing all the  folks at work - Show Secs, Judges and the indispensible Stewards  etc. Clearly a super day !

Thanks everyone ,really appreciate those that came from far and near. Stan thanks for doing the report and thanks for eating all those cakes  ::) ::) :-*, I ate mine in the back room away from your camera.

Can't get over Cyril's Saxifraga pubescens, well done to him. I would have to live to be a hundred to have any chance of having a plant that can come anywhere near Cyril's exhibits. Can only dream.

Maggi missed your cheerful-self, hope to see you soon.

Thanks again everyone , hopefully we have learnt more from this year show and will make it even better for next year .

closer examination of a photo shown earlier shows Alan the park manager  explaining  to   Angela where  clandestine  cake consumption could take place.
