Notholirion campanulatum
« on: July 05, 2016, 06:32:28 PM »
Just back from a brief foray to southwest Scotland. At Logan we saw several plants of Notholirion campanulatum. The one in the (Australian ?) woodland was absolutely stunning. 'The Bulb Book' says 'it  is fairly difficult to grow, but flourishes on the south-west coast of Scotland where the climate seems to suit it'. Has anyone succeeded elsewhere, and if so, what is the secret  ?
