The Corydalis that came from nowhere...
« on: August 11, 2016, 09:26:11 PM »
This plant appeared in a pot in my polytunnel ~ it grew quickly, germinating in April or May & it's now in flower. The polytunnel is not really ideal Corydalis territory (or not for a blue one), as it gets pretty hot. But the plant looks happy.

Any suggestions as to species?

Hello Malcolm
Could it be Corydalis linstowiana ? Seeds prolifically in the garden.

Ah, yes, that certainly looks a likely candidate; it's pretty, so I will encourage it
