Hi folks,

Just trawling through a final batch of images from a recent trip to Kazakhstan and I'm perplexed by some Juno's that had all finished flowering (just). I suspect they are either Iris albomarginata or Iris willmottiana. Locally they appear to to be using old synonyms for Iris albomarginata but notice equally confusing uses of synonyms of Iris willmottiana. Located within Aksu-Zhabagly nature reserve in the Tien Shan. One particular hillside near Ulken-Kaindy was covered in them so would have looked impressive 2 weeks earlier!
