This very nice min-sml double daff seedling measures just on, or bellow 50mm for the last two years.I'm going to set seed on it this year, or hope to.The white double poeticus is always a delight.

Hi
Paul, your flower is magnificent but looking at the photo I am not sure it would measure 50mm when flattened out. That is the downside of classifications based on size. Our new 4W-P is clearly miniature while the new 4W-Y is clearly intermediate in size. Regardless it is an impressive bit of hybridising and quite an achievement.

Hi Graham, thanks for that assessment, I guess I will have to try a little harder
. Trouble is, I'm running out of years.

Hi
Paul, flowers that are right on the margin are all too common for us. The worst ones are those that grow between picking and staging. We have a couple of miniature doubles that just make miniature. Unlike your double they are infertile jonquilla hybrids.
The photos include a photo taken today of KB-M-7W-P-9-15. It is a success story. A fine white-pink jonquilla hybrid that has two florets to the stem and that is clearly miniature and a nice clean pink. I also suspect that pollen from you double onto our micro mini would produce a miniature double.
When it comes to patience, I recall that it took us 9 years for us to flower N. dubius from seed.

Hi
A few more photos. The 8W-W is pretty good. It is only intermediate in terms of height.

Hi
I will post to September as these are my last posts for the season even if there are still quite a few things to flower.

Hi
The last of my posts for this season. The floriferous jonquilla hybrid is quite exceptional. It has up to 3 florets per stem and has certainly multiplied. It is fertile.

Re-opening this thread as a chance to post a photo of one of Keira Bulbs ( "mini-daffs" on the forum - lvoely exhibits from an Australian show - pic from Facebook by 'Daffodils in Australia'on 16 September
Comment quoted " Reverse bicolour cyclamineus seedling no 1-17, 6y-w, shown by Keira Bulbs. With its perfect reflex, strong contrast and substance, tiny halo, diminutive size and swept back petals, this was among the most beautiful miniatures I have seen. "
