Late Flowering Snowdrops

The early snowdrops always generate excitement but the late ones less so. I thought perhaps some readers would like a heads-up on varieties that provide a late show of white, so here is a list of those still flowering well here and not going over yet:

Many of these are readily available from UK nurseries and at sensible prices (unlike those in Ljubljana). Some are super garden plants - for example, Doncaster's Double Charmer, Viridapice and Pom-pom - that are not going to turn their toes up if the sun goes in.

This is an interesting list, thank you for posting it.
When I first started to grow more snowdrops I thought that only late ones would do well here, but I have found out that also early and mid season snowdrops do ok. In fact sometime when spring is short and very warm temperatures (over 20C) come suddenly some late ones flower too fast.
I don't have many which are in your list, but 'Cicely Hall', and 'Washfield Colesbourne' are also late ones here. Strange enough is that 'Viridapice' has always been one of the first to come up in my garden in five years it has flowered here. It comes up the same time as 'Mrs Macnamara' which is an early snowdrop in the UK, but of course here they both come up only when the snow allows them to.

Thank You, Steve for this late flowering snpwdrop list, it is very helpful for me! So I can complete my snowdrop-garden for a long flower-saison as possible! The start was last year in 2.10.2017, as the first G.r.o. flowered and I will see, when it ends!

Yes, thanks for the list Steve. I do find flowering seasons rather confusing, I notice that Lakeland Snowdrops describe Doncaster’s Double Charmer as early/mid season. I also find that some consistently throw up flowers long after their main flush, for example Wendy's Gold, which started flowering 8 weeks ago, and showed the same behaviour last year.
At least Washfield Warham always gives me a good show at season's end, which this year is now.

Also with me, ´Washfield Warham´flowers regularly late. It´s also distinct enough to be asked for by visitors, and easily available,too.

Less easy to come by is ´Snow White´s Gnome´, which flowers very late, too. Though mine came from Wolfgang Kletzing, who named the plant, it doesn´t show the long spathe described in the bible. I wonder if anyone grows the latter and would be kind enough to show it here.

Also here 'Washfield Warham' is a late snowdrops, many times is flowers closer to May.

1. - Polar Baer opens full in sunshine, like a Narcissus poetaz!
2. - a late G. elwesii like a White Pagode
3. - a G. elwesii with two flowers/stem and two flowerstems per sprout
