I have two plants in China. I grow them in a shady, cool greenhouse. Has anyone grown them in the garden? How big can withstand frosts?

I don't know of anyone growing these outside in the UK. All are under glass and most kept frost free. Someone here may have another story to tell....

Hello Egon27,
the China flower hawker do not have the ability handling of scientific names correctly,
your Chirita monantha
is Henckelia monantha (W.T.Wang) D.J.Middleton & Mich.Möller is an accepted name,
Chirita monantha W.T.Wang is a synonym of Henckelia monantha (W.T.Wang) D.J.Middleton & Mich.Möller,
