The same is certainly true for ZZ. I saw him at a meeting last fall...and I'm frozen in awe.

I just thought of a little play on words for ZZ... I think it's time for an increase in appreciation... We should call him "ZZ TOP" in the future. 😊

With this Gentiana, I'm not sure what kind it is. G. acaulis or G. occidentalis. The label has disappeared. Maybe someone can solve the riddle...
