Prague rock plants show 30 IV - 17 V 2008.
« on: May 06, 2008, 11:31:19 PM »
Hello everyone,
finally I got to the Prague show. Unfortunately for a person with my interests I found simply no species to my collection. Although I saw extraordinary plants during it. I also visited two people neare Prague where I got Pulsatilla slavica and Pulsatilla pratensis ssp. nigricans, so I cannot say it was unsuccessful. But my cousin (used to be called aunt) was very joyful and astonished with the amount of beautiful species. I think it was the best in all that exhibition to see her so happy.

Now sit cosily and wach the photos... Almost forgot. I will ad only few photos here, because there are too many of them. Rest you can see in my album HERE if you want.

The species unknown with the palmate leaves looks like Panax japonicus.

I am glad, that you all liked my photos. I must admit, that I did so many photos remembering about you all. ;D Wile doing them I tried to show how small was the show, but how full of species.

Thomas, Joakim is right. On my Photobucket albums to each photo I have different types of links to use:

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code - which I used here.

There are plusses and minuses of that. I can show as many photos as I want to (without straining the forums server). On the other hand I cannot move my photos in the album. I cannot rename them, because the link will be broken and you see empty page. There is no worry about that. I already put them in right place and I won't do anything with them.

Afloden, I think you are right with  the Panax japonicus it looks like the same plant. Nice. :) Could anyone tell what is that Wulfenia? My mistake, that I forgot to photo the label. :/ My cousin liked it and I will try to get it for her, but I must know what it is.

I must say it. I have finally found the ideal place with kindest people, who has same passion as mine. I hope I will be able in short period of time to share with you with my collection. I got many plants from many members of this forum. I was helped so many times that I cannot count it. I must thank you all. I will try hard to propagate what I have! I want to spread some rare species in cultivation so that the others could grow them and feel their beauty. Like once I felt it also thanks to you.
