Small shrub at Tiger Leaping Gorge, Lijiang, Yunnan

What could this be? The berries taste like Empetrum nigrum; but each fruit only has one big, round seed inside - looking very similar to a coriander seed. Altitude 2350m.

Could it be a type of Ilex?

Thank you, that would make a lot of sense! I'll have a look at the Flora of China and try to figure out what species.
