Branklyn Gardens 2008
« on: May 24, 2008, 01:44:42 PM »
A few pictures from Branklyn yesterday.  Compared with this time last year, it is a bit behind in flowering.  I have posted the Meconopsis on a separate thread.  Not many pictures but it would just have been repeating last years if I had included more.  The garden is getting so tightly packed with plants that it is getting almost impossible to isolate one plant from another --- I am not complaining !!!!  It is now looking better than it has done for years, with new plantings and more husbandry thanks to more staff.  A definite must see on anyone's list.  We spent so much time here that we were too late for Glendoick ,which probably saved me money, although Cindy made up for it at the Pottery market in Perth !

Tom

Wonderful photos - I can see why you would spend so much time here.

Thank you for showing Tom.
This garden comes on the list when we visit Scotland hopefully again.
What a beautiful place!

Sadly Luit died on 14th October 2016 - happily we can still enjoy his posts to the Forum
