Memory loss strikes again.

This is a very welcome regular sight each year. If I could only remember to put a label in! :(
I am sure it is an oenothera - but which one?

Oenothera perennis? Not sure, but thought I’d take a shot.

O. perennis or  O. fruticosa ?  perennis is the  smaller  of the  two but  I'm voting O. fruticosa - prepared to be  wrong!

Margaret Young in Aberdeen, North East Scotland Zone 7 -ish!

Thanks guys. I think the plant is too short for fruticosa so is more likely perennis. SRGC forum strikes again ;D
