I have the exactly same problem since some days ....
Have it written to Maggi ...but she know no solution
On my PC is Google Chrome ....
When I visit a other forum (german ) there look the emoijs normal ....so it must have something to do with this forum

This emoji problem is  now  happening to me  too- but  Ian, checking  on other  devices, finds  no problem.  Still no idea what's  happening, sorry  folks - but  at  least  the  general working  of the  forum is  unaffected!
