Only I am almost sure that the Semp. montanum Bloodtips is a Semp. calcareum form.
It's amazing that some people always try to show something old with a new name.
Why would this be??
Nevertheless, the pan with Sempervivum looks very good and with the right name would make no difference.
And I always thought that the people of the jury might be the best knowledgable plantsmen ???.

Luit, the judges don't always correct names for people although I wish they would more often. I also thought it was a calcareum but I tend to post what exhibitors' say they are as I'm just as likely to be wrong as they are. Whatever its true identity it was very photogenic.
