Do any of you use this for pest and disease control, directly onto the shoots, leaves and roots of plants?
I realise this is a dodgy area due to the standing of this product in European legislation,(it's officially 'an outdoor cleaner'), although I gather
alot of people use it 'unofficially' for a lot of other things.
The product's website suggests many uses for those outside the EU where it is marketed slightly differently, but doesn't cover red spider mite or fungal root rots.
I wondered if any of you had any first hand experience with it in these areas.
A suggested dilution rate (which you know to be safe) would be a help.

I decided to ring them, and they were very helpful. It's tar component helps with Pythium and Phytophthora, and the soap helps with red spider mite. It was suggested
to try 1:500 to start with, and if that caused no leaf staining, try after a couple of weeks with 1:200
