Any ideas of what species could be this one?

G. rosmarinifolia?

Mike,

Looks like it, or at least a hybrid with a good deal of that in it's parentage.
Cheers.

Min winter temp -8 or -9°C. Max summer temp 40°C. Thankfully, maybe once or twice a year only.

I have a red flowered one like that.  It's a hybrid or form called 'Canberra Gem'  Its a big beast grown on a south facing wall.  I have to cut it back regularly.

No, really? In Norwich? I know you say on a south wall but I'm still surprised at that.

Yes Really!!!
I don't think I've got a pic but I'll take one when it flowers.  It came as a small rooted cutting from Tim Ingram in Kent.  It is much too vigorous for the site between a path and the back wall.  The needle-like foliage aggravates passers by!  At 8 feet tall I decided it needed severe treatment a couple of years ago but now its almost back to its former size.  Flowers are quite generously produced over a long period.  It might be more spectacular if I allowed all the growth to mature at the same time instead of constantly cutting it back!  I never expected it to get so big - honest!!!
