Scilla verna 'Ken's Pink'
« on: May 13, 2009, 12:17:20 PM »
Here are two pics of Scilla verna ' Ken's Pink'.
According the late flowering the verification of the species name seems to be ok -
but I miss a reference for the cultivar name.
The plant was raised from AGS seeds 1998.

Is there anyone who knows more?

I know nothing of this form but it is a very pretty variation on the usual blue Gerd. :)

I have never heard of this variety but, following some clues ( I like to do that, you know ;) ) I have this thought..... AGS seed......'Ken's Pink' ...... now then, Ken Beckett was heavily involved with the AGS seed exchange, was he not? Perhaps a connection there?????
