Pulsatilla ??
« on: June 27, 2009, 10:55:01 AM »
During a walk in Northern Italy, a friend of mine discovered the plant below.

Any idea what it might be ??

It was located near Idro North-West of Lago di Garda - Northern Italy.
This is the only picture I have.

Thanks for any information.

What a stunner, Luc!  Looks like aberrant Pulsatilla alpina from the foliage and general demeanour, but others will surely put us both right.  :D

Luc,
It is a mutant of Anemone baldensis.

It doesn't seem the foliage matches Anemone baldensis, does it?    ???
